Laundry Soap - Homemade Detergent
Our laundry soap is a natural alternative to the commercial Laundry detergent sold in retail stores. This homemade laundry soap is formulated to effectively clean your clothes without excessive suds in your machine. Fresh and clean clothes can be expected from using this unscented homemade soap formula, it is definitely a treat to wash clothes in a natural soap. Fabric softener is never needed when using this pure laundry flake soap, but vinegar may be added to the rinse cycle as a fabric softener.
Most of the laundry detergent sold in stores is actually processed chemicals that irritate sensitive people. Our laundry soap is pure soap like what was used during the homestead era. This laundry soap also uses far less than the detergent sold in stores, an instruction sheet is included with your purchase.
Laundry soap is made from animal fats like the early settlers in the Atlantic states. Tallow in our laundry soap is derived from both beef and pork tallow to produce a balanced soap blend. Lard is one of the best ingredients to clean without excessive suds; this is an important factor in automatic washing machines. Since our laundry soap does not contain any oils to improve its cleansing performance, it also does not dry out your cloths making them feel wonderful on your skin.

Our laundry soap is homemade and grated by hand, there may be some variation in the size and color of the soap flakes. We do not intend to misrepresent any of our soap, laundry soap is packaged in two cup quantities with an average weight of 5 ounces. Laundry soap is packaged to wash up to 32 loads of laundry, but 16 loads is a more realistic number. If you have any questions or concerns, we will gladly assist you in any way possible.
